Together, we are making a difference in the lives of patients around the world. SUMMARY OF DUTIES Ensures accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED Ensures accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting. Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close for areas of functional responsibility. Prepares accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports and performs financial analysis as required. Provide timely and accurate accounting information to internal customers on ad hoc basis. Provide support for internal and external audits. Proposal and development of continuous improvements using lean tools to existing processes and procedures where appropriate. Ensure SOX 404 compliance for functional area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and provide input for KPIs. Responsible for ensuring accounting files and archives are maintained. Provide guidance and assistance to other departments/locations on accounting related matters. Assist in special financial analysis reporting and projects, as required Backup to other areas of Finance, as required. Completion of + 60 days report. Performs a variety of other related accounting tasks, as required. SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education equivalent to a certificate of leaving, or related local education equivalent. A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience. A broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong understanding of intercompany account reconciliation processes.
