About Your New Employer: Our client, a market leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an experienced assistant accountant to join their growing finance team in their Offaly HQ. About Your New Job: Monthly Bank Reconciliations. Accounts Payable, dealing with Supplier Queries, Supplier Statement Reconciliations. Assisting with bi-monthly preparation of VAT Returns. Quarterly reconciliations: Actual Sales to Forecast, Chassis Reconciliations, Stock review (at time of stock take), Purchases reconciliation, Wages Analysis. Quarterly Management Accounts: Assist the financial controller in the preparation of the management accounts, Assist with Inter-Company reconciliations. Ad hoc duties as required. What Skills You Need: 2+ years experience in a similar role Relevant higher qualifications is an advantage but not essential Good IT skills (Experience using spreadsheets, payroll software, Accounts system a distinct advantage). Ability to handle a busy workload and prioritise work with a high level of attention to detail.
