Our client a public service body based in Dublin city are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join them on a contract basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller role will involve: Duties of the role Assist with fixed asset register development Payroll Reconciliations betweenfinance package and Payroll & HR system Balance Sheet account reconciliations Supporting papers for audit file Scanning bank statements and importing them onto the finance package Preparing the supporting notes to the financial statements with full audit trail Supporting Finance Officer and Finance Support Officer in year end file preparation and collation Assisting in the reconciliation of profit centres to the financial statement Ad hoc work for theaccountsoffice as it occurs. Breakdown of annual budgets into phased CSV file for import to finance package Develop useful analysis between payroll information and monthly managementaccounts Suitable candidates will be part qualified accountants or qualified accounting technicians.
