Assistant Bakery Manager Excel Recruitment are delighted to announce we are seeking an experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to join our client, an award-winning retailer in Wicklow Area Salary: €37k-€42k This role is an amazing opportunity for a seasoned Senior Baker or Bakery Supervisor who wants to take the next step in their career and move into management. As Assistant Bakery Manager you will have the chance to lead a skilled team and assist the Bakery Manager in bringing the bakery to the next level. This is a morning shift working 5/7 days a week. You will be leading the team and working as a Scratch Baker creating high-quality baked goods and confectionery. The Ideal Assistant Bakery Manager will: Ensure the department runs efficiently and all products reach our high-quality expectation Work alongside the Bakery Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the bakery Have excellent customer service/ conflict resolution skills Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment Have a constant drive to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Have a creative streak and aid in the development of new products Requirements of Bakery Manager: 2-3 years experience as a baker is essential Ability to manage a team In-depth knowledge of food safety procedures Ability to work in a team Good work ethic and initiative Must follow food safety guidelines Experience in ordering for bakery and managing waste within a fresh food area Responsible for maintaining records Minimize shrink and maintain low waste margins Driving or willing to commute up to one hour If you are interested in this role or any other roles on the Excel recruitment website please apply via website or contact me Adam to discuss potential job opportunities.
