A natural leader is required to deliver exceptional service in a highly guest-focused environment with strong food and beverage background.
The Assistant Bar Manager will work closely with the Bar Manager and Food and Beverage Team to ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong food and beverage background with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with 4/5 star hospitality experience;
- Ambition to drive standards in a busy environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexibility, reliability and enthusiasm;
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the team;
- Be standards driven.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service;
- Responding to the requirements of the business;
- Training to ensure compliance to standards at all levels within the team;
- Assisting in stock control management;
- Ensuring compliance with all licensing, legal and regulatory requirements;
- Ensuring appropriate returns and cash handling procedures are adhered to.
