Nua Healthcare Services (Nua) is one of Irelands leading Private Healthcare Providers, specialising in Residential and Supported Living Services, to both Children and Adults with a range of complex support needs. The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role. Candidates must be highly motivated and creative, with a passion for engaging with Service Users on a daily basis. Candidates will contribute to enriching the lives of our Service Users. We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the position of Assistant Clinical Psychologist. This will include the following on a day-to-day basis: Live our Mission, Vision and Values. With the Senior Clinical Psychologist provide a range of psychological servicesas required including assessments, reports and recommendations, anddiagnostics. Promote and deliver services within the Company ethos and philosophy Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing an integrated andcoordinated service to our service users and contribute to the development ofperson-centred plans. Assist with providing advice/support programmes and training for parents andfamilies. Participate actively in general development of the service. Ensure that professional standards are maintained. Monitor and keep up to date with developments in Psychology and earlyintervention, including attending training courses and participating in researchand development. Participate in training as required. Provide support to other staff as appropriate and supervise students/volunteersas required. Contribute towards the on-going development of the service as required. Maintain quality standards within the service and participate in qualitydevelopments. Comply with policies and procedures as advised. Perform any other duties appropriate to the position from time to time. Assist Senior Clinical Psychologist in regard to compiling and presenting reportsas required. Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to staff and Individuals Qualification: Psychology Degree or equivalent MSc ABA or equivalent All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the PsychologicalSociety of Ireland. Knowledge: Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area. Experience: Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role. Experience of / with people with additional and/or complex needs. Skills: High standard of IT literacy. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills under pressure, ability to work on your own initiative. Excellentorganisational skills / self-motivated / self-starter. Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
