Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at emeis Ireland, the largest Nursing Home Group in Ireland. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being needs are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure efficient running of the Nursing Home and create a positive atmosphere for residents.
- Liaise with residents, relatives, and staff to ensure their needs are met.
- Administer prescribed medicines and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise staff and promote a culture of respect and dignity.
- Market the Nursing Home and promote a positive image within the local community.
- Provide training and development opportunities to staff.
- Ensure the security and maintenance of the Nursing Home.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
**Requirements:**
- Current NMBI Registration.
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team player.
- Genuine interest in working with elderly clients.
- Certification of Garda Vetting Unit clearance.
- Care for the Elderly experience/qualification.
**Desired:**
- Minimum two years management/supervisory experience.
