On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a semi-acute facility in Dublin. Key responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all patient care needs. Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring patient outcomes and implementing corrective actions. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or management role. Experience working in step-down, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care. Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development.
