Job Description

They are seeking an assistant financial advisor to join their team. This is a new role arising due to continued growth in their business. The role requires someone who is self-motivated and whose priority is to work as a trusted professional advisor for clients in managing their wealth. The role will involve working with clients to help them realise their financial goals whilst building a relationship of mutual trust. The successful candidate will join a team of established Financial Advisors and have a desire to work in a fast-moving environment which is informal and fun but does not compromise on quality. Key responsibilities Supporting existing team of Financial Advisors to provide advice and dealing with customers (estimated 80% of time). Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: Effective management of new investment and pension applications from offer to account opening Administering group pension and benefits schemes Preparation of presentations, reports and advice to corporate and personal clients and prospective clients Progression towards advising customers on financial matters (principally pensions and investments) by phone, email, video-conference, face-to-face and other media, including preparation and signing of Statements of Suitability Handling inbound customer queries Knowledge/ application of responsibilities that come with working in a regulated professional services environment (including CPC, anti money-laundering, data protection) Other supporting activities (estimated 20% of time) will include: Reviewing existing customer base for business development opportunities Support the general compliance and admin requirements of the business Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes through feedback and working alongside support staff Develops sales proposals and presentations that are consistent with the companies standards with assistance from more senior sales team members Supporting strategic initiatives/ business building Marketing activities including supporting our annual initiative, Pensions Awareness Week Skills & Qualification requirements Qualified Financial Advisor designation essential At least three years experience in investments and pensions Ability to work independently and proactively anticipate client and team needs Effective time management and decision making skills Diligent follow up skills to manage sales pipeline and client requirements Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adesire to build confident presentation and public speaking abilities Working environment 37.5 hour per week time commitment Permanent role based in central Dublin with flexibility to work from remote locations from time to time Reporting to Head of Client Services Willingness to adapt and seek development opportunities in the context of a fast-growth company Benefits Package includes: Competitive Salary Inclusion in company pension scheme Death in service cover Continuous learning opportunities Skills: pension Investments communication skills.
