Commutable from Carlow Town/Castledermot/Tullow/Killerrig/Rathvilly/Athy/Bagenalstown This is a permanent position. Your new job Key duties & responsibilities: Manage Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) to meet legal standards. Lead HACCP team and ensure compliance through internal audits. Coordinate with regulatory authorities and handle audits (BRC, Bord Bia, etc.). Oversee supplier and product approvals. Align management with Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) goals. Conduct FSMS audits, resolve issues with the team. Keep food safety training updated. Address consumer complaints and FSQ issues. Maintain hygiene and pest control standards. What are we looking for? A qualification in Science or Food Science is essential. At least 3 years of experience in technical quality management. Auditing experience- internal audits, risk assessments. Strong knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems. Experience in implementing and managing (QMS). Key Skills: Flexibility, quick learning, problem-solving, communication & organizational skills. A full drivers license and access to your own car are required. Must be eligible to work in the EU.
