Job Description

Geotechnical Engineer sought for dynamic team with diverse and challenging opportunities for growth, blending site-based and office-based work.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise ground investigation and construction activities, ensuring high-quality execution and safety.
  • Generate high-quality reports and liaise effectively with specialists and clients, ensuring clear communication and project understanding.
  • Prepare detailed ground models and establish design parameters for various geotechnical structures, including slopes, walls, and foundations.
  • Contribute to all aspects of project delivery, including client liaison and coordination with colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Play a key role in implementing higher sustainability standards and enhancing the use of 3 D data in project delivery.
  • Utilize the company's geotechnical training framework to enhance personal and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of ground risk and site investigation principles.
  • Solid grasp of fundamental soil mechanics and foundation engineering concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of producing high-quality reports and design deliverables.
  • A strong desire to progress towards chartered status and advance in the geotechnical field.
