Job Description
Manage labour for daily production plans in a 24/7 production environment. Minimise production time/costs, organise resources, and monitor team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan labour for packhouse a week in advance and daily
- Review and approve payroll, control overtime and absence
- Work with staff agencies, deal with issues and monitor compliance with the Working Time Directive
- Carry out monthly planning audits of packhouse for time and attendance
- Prepare reports on skill gap analysis and labour required in packhouse
- Manage annual leave and promote health & safety standards
Requirements:
- Knowledge of TMS system an advantage
- Fluency in both oral and written English
- Intermediate level MS Excel, advanced level preferred
- Experience in Labour Resource Planning and managerial experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, flexible in terms of on-call phone support
- Own transport required as location is not supported by Public Transport
