Seeking an Assistant Lecturer in Industrial Microbiology with expertise in brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in the field of Industrial Microbiology, with a focus on brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching and research in Industrial Microbiology
- Contributing to the development of brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation programs
- Collaborating with colleagues to advance the field of Industrial Microbiology
Requirements:
- Expertise in Industrial Microbiology related to brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Proficiency in IT skills
Working hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, general working hours of the School and Faculty.
Salary: €49,146- €60,047 (New Entrants) €44,640- €60,047
