Job Description
Seeking an Assistant Lecturer in Industrial Microbiology with expertise in brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in the field of Industrial Microbiology, with a focus on brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching and research in Industrial Microbiology
- Contributing to the development of brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation programs
- Collaborating with industry partners to develop innovative solutions in Industrial Microbiology
Requirements:
- PhD in Industrial Microbiology or related field
- Expertise in brewing and distilling, yeast husbandry, precision fermentation, and waste bio remediation
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills
Working hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, general working hours of the School and Faculty.
Salary: €49,146- €60,047 (New Entrants)
