ASSISTANT MANAGER | HOSPITALITY | DUBLIN CITY CENTRE | PERMANENT Our client, a market leader in their field is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Conveniently located in Dublin City Centre, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor/ assistant manager coming from a retail or hospitality role to join a great team where attractive salary and good career development prospects are on offer. THE ROLE| The new team member will be responsible for the successful day to day management of the retail operations team. They will be knowledgeable and confident in communicating with customers and have previous experience within supervisory role. This role would be an ideal opportunity for an energetic and ambitious candidate. The successful team member will be someone who is motivated to learn in every aspect of the operations. RESPONSIBILITIES| Responsible for all elements of staff (team of 25 staff) management including recruitment, training, development, rostering and motivating the team to achieve common goals Manage the sales floor, cash office and all back office admin on a day-to-day basis Maximising sales performance whilst ensuring stock and cost control Achieving KPI's such as Stock loss, Health and Safety compliance REQUIREMENTS| Previous 2 years' experience as a supervisor or Assistant Manager within a Retail or Hospitality environment in a fast-paced high-volume retail environment Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills Strong numerical skills with previous experience analysing commercial reports Customer focused with excellent relationship management skills Proficiency in Microsoft office packages and a working knowledge of retail computerised management and control systems As this business is within the hospitality industry, you must be available to work a roster based on flexible working hours including weekdays, potential late nights and weekends WHAT NEXT? | If you are searching for a new role where you can be part of a fantastic team, please send your CV to Lisa in the Dublin Branch for immediate consideration.
