They have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join their Killarney location. Applicants from construction and similar sectors are preferred and sales skills are essential. Permanent, Full-time position Killarney, Kerry Working hours: 8.30am 5.30pm Job description We have a very exciting opportunity to join a builders provider operation based in Killarney, Co. Kerry on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to grow your managerial career in a busy, team-orientated environment. This role would suit someone with previous managerial experience in the trade/construction sector with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Duties and Responsibilities: As Assistant Store Manager, you will report to and assist the store owner in ensuring the smooth running of the store and team on a day-to-day basis. You will actively manage key accounts and drive sales within the branch promoting products and services. Motivate- you will create a culture and environment that engages your team and drives them to want to do their best. Customer-focused- understanding that great customer service is a priority, and that service excellence is about consistently doing things extraordinarily well. Identify and develop talent- understanding the strengths of the people in your team and creating development plans for each of them to help them succeed. Maintaining excellent store standards at all times. What the ideal candidate looks like: 5+ years previous management experience in a trade/construction environment is essential. You will need to possess great leadership skills in order to motive your team and drive performance and sales. Hardworking & Self-Motivated: Have the ability to prioritize, problem-solve and achieve high standards in delivery of goals and objectives. Strong sales experience: Have a strong background in sales, trade or customer facing roles. Outstanding customer service skills.
