We are hiring an experienced and proactive Assistant Night Manager for our clients property in Kildare. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of night-time functions and provide exceptional service to guests. The position includes hands-on tasks such as covering Night Porter duties when needed, so flexibility and a hands-on approach are essential. Key Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing the night operations of the hotel, ensuring all night staff duties are performed efficiently. Perform Night Porter tasks such as guest check-ins/outs, handling luggage, and room service when required. Handle any guest queries, issues, or complaints during the night shift, ensuring they are resolved promptly and professionally. Ensure the security of the property during the night, conducting regular checks and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Prepare reports on nightly activities, including financial summaries and guest interactions. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth handovers for the following days operations. Assist with the preparation of early morning setups for breakfast or events as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of public areas during the night shift. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Willingness to perform hands-on tasks, including Night Porter duties, when required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently during the night shift. Knowledge of hotel management software and night audit processes is a plus. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
