The Lecturer in Biochemistry will be responsible for: • Undertaking discovery science research • Securing grant funding for a research programme • Educating undergraduate and postgraduate students in Biochemistry • Establishing an independent research group to carry out high-level original research in an area complementary to the School's research interests The successful candidate will contribute to the School's teaching programme, which includes undergraduate teaching in Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Medicine, Neuroscience, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Human Health & Disease, and Radiation Therapy. The post is a Tenure Track position, which is 5 years in the first instance, with permanency subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
