Your main duties will include: Dealing with incoming telephone calls for reservations room enquiries Dealing with incoming e-mail queries from new and existing clients Taking reservations accurately and in a helpful, friendly manner Answering telephone calls promptly using proper telephone etiquette Manage group blocks, managing cut off dates, deposits and contracts Maximise rooms and other revenue sales through efficient revenue management Support and guidance for the Reservations team Identify new revenue opportunities for the hotel Assist with setting up packages and rate mapping / distribution. Nurture a Revenue Management culture within the reservation & reception team Who we are looking for A candidate with: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong knowledge of Property Management System Strong customer service ethos and background A can-do attitude and the ability to work well in team Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer softwares Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task Experience working as a Reservations Manager About the Sandymount Hotel Sandymount Hotel is a 4-star, award-winning hotel based in the residential suburb of Sandymount, Dublin 4.
