Job Description

Assistant Site Manager required for permanent position in Ringsakiddy, Co Cork. Responsible for commercial and technical management of contract at client site, developing key client relationships and leading high-performance team delivering world-class hard facilities services. Required skills include engineering degree, pharma engineering experience, compliance and safety focus, maintenance and troubleshooting experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work alone and as part of team.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for proactive facilities management service delivery
Client management and satisfaction
Improve maintenance workforce productivity and work quality
Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs and maintain tracking tools
Manage staff's daily operations, including corrective and preventative maintenance for critical building systems, utilities, and equipment
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of general maintenance, major repairs, and project work
Maintain GMP requirements and compliance
Coordinate and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement works
Manage and maintain repairs and maintenance budget
Review and certify vendor eligibility and compliance
Manage BFM team and identify and fill roles as needed

Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably mechanical/process and/or building services, with three to ten years post-graduate experience
Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of various systems and processes, including plant steam boilers, HVAC, tower water systems, and more
Strong background in Atex/Hazardous Area equipment experience
Self-motivation, ability to work alone and as part of team, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer skills
Desirable: recognized third-level qualification, minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry, experience managing high-performing team, and experience working within budget constraints
