Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort is currently recruiting an Assistant Spa Manager to work within our fabulous Spa. The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will be friendly and have a positive, can-do attitude. Flexibility with shift work is essential, as the position involves both midweek and weekend shifts. Responsibilities: To ensure the delivery of a high standard of customer care and service is always provided in every area of the business. In the absence of the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Spa. Stock control including the ordering of retail and salon products in line with Budget and business levels as set out. In conjunction with the Spa Manager, setting stock sales targets on a monthly basis for therapists. Assist with rostering to ensure adequate levels of staff to maximise business needs. Create ongoing in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales, staff and customers. To drive sales and meet agreed sales targets. To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel. To assist in empowering, encouraging and promoting employees to make on the spot guest satisfaction decisions. To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have: Previous Senior Therapist or Supervisory experience. Experience in managing a busy reception desk and coordinating the day-to-day running of a similar Spa. A passion for the spa industry, delivering a high standard of treatment and customer service in line with standards expected. The successful candidate will be fully qualified in facial, body, and beauty treatments, with previous experience working in a busy spa or salon. Experience of working with the Elemis range would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. Flexibility to working hours both mid-week and weekends. The successful candidate will be trained in-house by our Lead Spa and Health Club Manager and a member of the Elemis international elite training.
