We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager for our clients based in Macroom, Co. Cork.
**Job Summary:**
Support the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our clients' convenience store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, maintaining high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Help recruit, train, and supervise store staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and ensure products are well-organised and accurately priced.
- Support the implementation of sales strategies and in-store promotions to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure store operations adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
- Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role, preferably in a convenience store.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
