Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager with 2-5 years retail management experience to join our team in a fun and fast-paced concession in Dublin.

Maria Tash Limited is a luxury brand based in New York with worldwide headquarters. Our flagship store opened in 2004, and we expanded internationally in 2016, with a concession in Liberty of London. We have continued to open piercing and jewelry destinations in Dublin, Harrods of London, Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, and Bal Harbor, Miami.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the stylist team, working alongside the manager to ensure the team meets outlined goals. They are the first point of contact for issues with employees or customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and communicate current product knowledge to all associates.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent.
  • Contribute to a positive atmosphere that is fun, professional, productive, and team-oriented.
  • Assist with scheduling and time attendance for accurate payroll processing.
  • Ensure up-to-date staffing details for security and health and safety procedures.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Preparation and execution of store events in partnership with management and marketing.
  • Knowledge and improvement of key KPIs for the store.
  • Responsible for knowing clientele and improving customer retention.
  • Ensure client information is accurately maintained.
  • Regularly update staff on business performance and new initiatives.

Operational Duties:

  • Monitor stock inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
  • Ensure the stylist team maintains cleanliness and store maintenance.
  • Receive, check in, and distribute stock.
  • Ensure secure storage of client and staff data.
  • Assist in analyzing results and identifying opportunities to drive KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience (luxury a plus).
  • Ability to be solution-focused.
  • Understanding of clientelling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Creates an inclusive environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Interest in jewelry and body piercing.
