The Assistant Store Manager role at a busy Retail Chain in Ferbane Offaly involves progressing to a store management position within 12 months. Key responsibilities include ensuring store efficiency, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean environment. Duties include setting and achieving sales targets, implementing planograms, supporting team development, and embracing new initiatives.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team.
- Implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range is in place.
- Support team development and ensure smooth store operations.
- Understand achieving margins in all departments.
- Engage with new initiatives and ways of working.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a management position.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience balancing cash/tills.
- Good delegation skills.
- Understanding of achieving KPIs and targets.
