**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Assistant Trading Manager to optimize the contribution of the assigned portfolio to the profitability and market share position of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland and our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage the portfolio product range, product quality, and category plans to ensure they reflect market and consumer trends.
• Source and introduce own label products in conjunction with product development teams.
• Negotiate total purchase costs of products for Musgrave and our Retail Partners.
• Set wholesale selling prices and monitor portfolio and product margins to ensure profitability objectives are met.
• Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and Retail Partners.
**Requirements:**
• Third-level qualification and/or at least 2 years' experience in a commercial function (e.g., Trading, Finance, or Supply Chain).
• Strong commercial acumen, proven analytical skills, and excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
• Knowledge of category management principles is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term stable relationships.
