Job Summary: Verify Assets and Ensure Regulatory Compliance
Northern Trust, a globally recognized financial institution, seeks a skilled professional to ensure regulatory compliance and asset verification in Depositary Operations.
About the Role:
- Verify ownership of assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive (AIFMD) & UCITS Directives.
- Perform asset verification activities, sourcing documentation to confirm ownership of "Other Assets".
- Participate in quarterly meetings to ensure Depositary Operations meet governance requirements.
- Review exposure reporting on Market Oversight - Restricted/Watch Markets for multiple jurisdictions.
- Involve in review of existing processes and ensure procedures are being adhered to.
- Ensure new clients and fund launches are incorporated into relevant processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
- Ensure reporting requirements for internal and external clients are produced on a monthly basis.
- Assist in testing new processes or system development.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexible approach to changing business requirements.
- Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administration and organizational skills.
- Fund administration experience, ideally in Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt or Fund of Fund asset classes.
