Our advisory practice consists of CFO advisory, sports advisory, value creation, M&A, transaction services, valuations, debt advisory, tax, forensic accounting and e-discovery services. We work with businesses and their s Role Purpose: Joining our CFO Advisory / Value Creation team will give you exposure to a wide variety of different, exciting organisations. Our client’s range across the public and private sectors including listed corporates, private equity funds, large corporates, government agencies, and large complex transformation programmes. Our clients require support for a broad range of reasons, but common to all, is the need to improve business performance and create value for their stakeholders. We leverage data and analytics to determine the hard facts and develop actions to improve performance and generate value. Our services generate long-term value for our clients, these include: End-to-end profitability improvement, Special project support, Business plan development, Product strategy and pricing, Working capital optimisation, Cashflow forecasting, Performance improvement, and, Support with delivery of large scale, complex transformation programmes. Our team is expanding rapidly, with the goal of quickly building a market leading business. As a result, we are looking to add driven and talented individuals to support our ambitious growth plans. Successful applicants will: Enhance Interpath’s reputation through contributing towards consistent high-quality project delivery. Support clients across multiple sectors to analyse data and determine root causes of underperformance (e.g., financial modelling and data and analytics). Develop recommendations, associated action plans, and support implementation to realise long-lasting benefits quickly. Drive business development via attending client meetings, supporting development of proposals, and competitive tender responses. Support ongoing product development to ensure our services and propositions continue to be market leading at delivering value to our clients. Ultimately, you will obtain a deep understanding of financial and commercial matters and become experienced change agents, helping clients solve their most complex problems. Stakeholders across all areas of the market, from regional SMEs all the way up to large, complex multi-national organisations. Key Accountabilities: Lead and oversee the day-to-day execution of CFO Advisory / Value Creation projects across a range of industries and sectors, both nationally and internationally. Manage the client relationship throughout the project including leading negotiations and interaction with key stakeholders (management team, lenders, shareholders & other advisors). Act as a mentor and a coach to support the development of junior team members. Work closely with the wider leadership team to identify and develop business opportunities including the preparation and delivery of pitches and other marketing material e.g. thought leadership. Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and new work providers (lenders, multipliers, shareholders), developing business opportunities for the firm. Ensure effectively managed risks and issues, escalating where necessary Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of 8 years post-degree experience in management consulting, audit, or financial services. Have a relevant qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent). Insolvency qualifications would also be beneficial but are not essential. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills, specifically a hypothesis driven approach to tackling complex problems. Showcasing strong leadership skills, taking responsibility for the overall project delivery and delegating where necessary to deliver projects to tight deadlines, within budget and to a high-quality standard. Managing key stakeholder relationships Have a strong understanding of the market and current developments. Built a network of contacts through which you will be responsible for winning work and developing and implementing marketing initiatives.
