Environmental Consultant A senior professional to lead environmental teams and contribute to project designs and assessments, improving the environmental performance of diverse projects. As one of the largest environmental consultancies in the UK and Ireland, our client tackles some of the most challenging and high-profile projects in the region. They manage the environmental inputs throughout the lifecycle of these projects, with their Environmental Management and Assessment Team playing a pivotal role. Key Responsibilities: • Direct and lead environmental teams • Contribute to project designs and assessments • Significantly impact improving the environmental performance of diverse projects • Ideal for an enthusiastic individual eager to lead and deliver environmental aspects of engineering projects **Key Project Responsibilities:** • Directing projects, including recruitment, bidding, team management, project delivery, and financial oversight • Expanding client's offerings in the water sector • Providing thought leadership and securing new business • Leading complex projects, building client relationships, and seeking new business opportunities • Contributing to innovative techniques, driving performance improvement, and fostering a positive team culture **Qualifications:** • Relevant environmental/planning degree or equivalent experience • Demonstrable experience in EIA delivery for major water schemes • Familiarity with consenting processes like Habitats Regulations Assessments and SSSI Assents • Thorough knowledge of a wide range of environmental issues • Proven line management experience and a track record of developing and upskilling teams • Evidence of successfully driving business growth • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
