**Optum Associate Director - Workforce Planning** **Job Summary:** Lead workforce planning and optimization to achieve business objectives, leveraging data analysis and strategic direction to drive high-quality performance and growth. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of how planning and forecasting translate to optimal schedules and real-time management to support multi-site operations. **Key Responsibilities:** • Manage a culture that encourages individual growth, development, and innovation • Provide strategic direction and perspective to the department • Develop strong talent within the department • Assist in the delivery and development of long and short-term backoffice capacity plans • Analyze and maintain information related to forecasting accuracy, efficiency recommendations, operational risks, and opportunities • Communicate analysis and recommendations with operational leadership and other key stakeholders • Support ad hoc operational and strategic business activities through analysis and reporting • Develop, recommend, implement, and continuously improve business solutions and processes **Requirements:** • Proven Workforce Management (WFM) experience supporting Operations • Proven experience with short and long-range planning, financial modeling, and complex data analysis • Previous experience handling complex operations and financial issues • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with PC-based software programs and automated database management systems • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field **Preferred Qualifications:** • Experience in the Financial Services industry • Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) software • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills • Solid project management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven leadership skills
