Job Description

Our client, a leading private equity-backed financial services company, is currently seeking a Financial Controllerto join their Dublin city centre based team. This role is critical for managing financial activities across multiple regions in Continental Europe, providing leadership in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Job: Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering timely and accurate financial information. Present accounts to the Board of Directors and ensure the timely resolution of queries. Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with policies and statutory requirements. Lead statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements. Implement Group policies and manage regulatory submissions. Collaborate with Financial Accountants, AP, and AR teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data. Provide guidance to drive continuous improvement. Work closely with the FP&A team to deliver KPIs and management information. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Participate in finance transformation projects and drive improvements in efficiency within the finance function. Contribute to broader strategic initiatives within the group. Build strong relationships with the Group Finance functions and boards of directors. Manage third-party relationships and outsourced providers. The Candidate: Qualified Accountant with ideally 3+ years of post-qualified experience in a finance role, preferably with Top 10 training. Experience in asset management and a understanding of IFRS accounting standards is essential.
