Summary: Experienced accountant required for advisory role providing practical solutions to clients' complex financial reporting issues.

We are seeking a skilled accountant to join our advisory team. As a seasoned professional, you will provide expert guidance to clients on complex financial reporting issues, leveraging your knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other international jurisdictions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide expert accounting advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships, fostering trust and understanding of our services.
  • Assist in proposal and business development work, preparing budgets and collaborating with international offices and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of project plans, delegating tasks effectively and providing coaching to junior team members.
  • Manage a team effectively, ensuring timely completion of assignments within budget and timeframe.
  • Develop and mentor staff, promoting growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives, demonstrating commercial awareness and a passion for client service.

Requirements:

  • Recognized accounting qualification, preferably with audit experience and a strong understanding of IFRS and UK & Irish GAAP.
  • Minimum 5 years PQE practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statements, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong people and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Language fluency in one or more European languages is desirable, with other languages a benefit but not essential.
