Seeking experienced professional to develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, negotiating rebate discounts for formulary access.
Associate Director of Industry Relations

- Develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers to negotiate rebate discounts for formulary access.
- Responsible for financial modelling and analytics to optimize rebate discounts and lowest net cost strategy.
- Assess pharmaceutical products for clinical knowledge of multiple therapeutic categories.
- Contract negotiation processes, including review and coordination with internal legal and contract experts.
- Execute formulary contract negotiations and interactions with pharmaceutical manufacturers in compliance with corporate policies.
Required Qualifications
- Contracting negotiations, strategy development, and contract redlining experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Pharmacy.
- Advanced degree (MBA or PharmD).
- Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry context.
