Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Associate Director to join a rapidly expanding Renewable Energy team. This role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and project delivery across our energy business, which spans the UK, Ireland, and the wider EMEA region. You will play a key role in projects involving energy generation, storage, transmission, and distribution, working with a diverse range of clients from large utility companies to private developers.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Take charge of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.Technical Oversight: Review and generate technical and contractual documentation, providing expertise across all stages of project design, from feasibility studies to detailed design and site supervision.Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Coordinate the design of renewable energy infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across various engineering disciplines.Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.Site Support: Address technical queries from site teams, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and effectively.Quality Assurance: Act as a lead verifier on technical reports and design documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (BEng Hons) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing chartership.Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong technical background in areas such as hydroelectric design, onshore/offshore wind, solar PV, or green hydrogen.Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.Strong client-facing skills, with a track record of successfully managing client relationships.This role is ideal for a driven professional eager to contribute to the future of renewable energy while advancing their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
