Job Description
As an Associate EIA Consultant you will work with technical environmental specialists and design teams across multiple sectors to lead environmental teams and inputs to project designs and assessments.
You will be instrumental in improving the environmental performance for a diverse range of projects including rail, highways, energy and commercial residential.
Responsibilities include leading projects, delivering Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and preparing planning applications and annual environmental reports.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Project Lead on EIA projects involving multidisciplinary teams
Technical lead in a discipline as related to EIA an advantage e.g. ecology, noise or air quality
Preparing planning applications, licences, permits and annual environmental reports
**The Team:**
WSP's Environment team in Ireland is a diverse team of environmental scientists, ecologists, geologists and environmental engineers who work collaboratively on projects.
**Requirements:**
Sound understanding of EIA and planning laws that affect EIA in Ireland
Relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar
Demonstrable post-qualified experience of leading environmental assessments on a variety of projects
Comprehensive project management skills
