The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and well-established Audio Visual company in Northern Ireland to help continue their expansion.The role would include development of new business and providing technical expertise/solutions and support to colleagues and our client's customers.The primary focus will be on understanding customer requirements, recommending solutions and contributing to the sales process from initial consultation to post-sales support.This role will focus on new markets or on existing markets/opportunities that are currently being underexploited. Specifically, this will include the following:A: The Health Sector where there is huge potential. The strategy would be to use existing client contacts and exploit opportunities/frameworks that are frequently being made available.B: Complex Integrated Projects. Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, detailed schematics and cost estimates outlining recommended AV system and services.C: Tender and Public Sector Opportunities. A number of interesting opportunities are published every month. You would be supported in this regard by our client's procurement tender advisor.D: Building and developing contacts generated by the sales team general marketing initiatives.E: Following up on general customer enquiries to generate sales opportunities including a significant amount of referred business.F: Providing general technical/project assistance within the company as requested or required.G: Continuous market review to identify new opportunities or sectors.H: Input and advice on project resourcing technical recruitment.I: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of AV solutionsBased in Northern Ireland (ideally Belfast), salary will be £45k-£55k p.a. plus commission, benefits and car or car allowance.Your skills and experienceYou will have successful experience in Audio Visual Sales and/or Engineering with a focus on building excellent relationshios with customers.Strong product knowledge and keeping up to date with new Audio Visual solutions and products.A good working knowledge of Public and Private sector in Northern Ireland.You will have strong experience in a results driven business to business environment with proven technical sales success ideally within but not limited to an Audio Visual related or technical industry.You will be hard working, team oriented and a good relationship builder, who is able to develop new business as well as manage accounts to produce sales and profits on a consistent basis. You will have effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A good problem solver, you will be professional in all your dealings with people both internally and externally and have excellent presentation skills.You will have a Technical Sales background especially in AV equipment hardware/software. Strong negotiation skills to increase the companys solutions positioning.Experience in working directly with customers.The ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and requirements to customers and internal teams equallyHigher education at university or similar desirable but experience is more importantExcellent communication skills, with the ability to both present and negotiate at a high levelExperience of CRM systems a distinct advantage The OrganisationOur client is a leading independent technology solutions provider working with prestigious corporate clients and major government organisations.
