Our client is looking for an experienced Audit and Accounts Director to lead their audit and accounting department, spearhead business growth, and provide strategic leadership. This position involves managing a diverse client portfolio, overseeing audit processes and financial reporting, and enhancing team performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the audit and accounts team to ensure high-quality service delivery. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships while offering strategic financial advice. Oversee audit engagements, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. Drive business development initiatives and identify new growth opportunities. Monitor departmental performance and optimize resource management. Represent the firm at external forums and industry events. Qualifications and Experience: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification. 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and Irish GAAP. Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead teams. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
