Job Description

Summary: Lead Audit Manager for Financial Services Structured Finance team in Dublin, responsible for client relationships, business development, and team management.

As a seasoned assurance professional, you will lead a dynamic team in Dublin, driving business growth and delivering high-quality services to clients in the Financial Services Structured Finance sector. With a strong track record in client relationship management and business development, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading client relationships and stakeholder management through ongoing communication and resolution of key audit issues.
  • Active involvement in financial services business development activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Providing guidance and expertise to professional staff and participating in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services.
  • Developing team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
  • Planning engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and addressing risk.
  • Preparing and reviewing management communications, proposal budgets, and negotiating fees and overruns.
  • Reviewing and approving financial statements, opinions, and reports for clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' assurance experience gained in a Big 4 practice or equivalent experience in a financial services department.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant accounting standards impacting the sector.
  • A track record of establishing and developing client relationships.
  • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US GAAP.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially report writing skills.
  • A professional and proactive approach to work.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • A minimum of 18 months' left on your valid passport to facilitate work permit and visa applications.
