**Audit Manager Role Summary** Conduct audits, evaluate risk areas, and ensure control effectiveness in Asset Servicing. About Northern Trust: Northern Trust is a globally recognized financial institution with over 130 years of experience, serving the world's most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service. **Job Description** As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for: * Coordinating and collaborating with the global Asset Servicing audit team to identify risk areas and execute audit deliverables * Demonstrating professional skepticism and evaluating business processes, controls, and operating practices * Project-managing assigned audit deliverables, overseeing audit team staffing, and monitoring the audit budget * Reviewing audit team output, establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, and displaying strong presentation and communication skills * Interacting regularly with Senior and Executive Management to assess risk, business changes, and other significant events * Understanding and assisting in the implementation of data analytic techniques to support testing/assessment of the area under review * Drafting the final report to ensure adherence to Department standards * Conducting continuous monitoring meetings with the Asset Servicing business and Audit Services management * Developing and demonstrating an ongoing understanding of Asset Servicing business risks, controls, and processes * Maintaining a knowledge base on regulatory rules and regulatory changes within the Asset Servicing industry **Key Skills and Qualifications** * College or University degree * Extensive experience in financial services or a similar regulated industry * Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills * Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms * Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) or proven technical abilities in related areas * Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques that can be applied to support audit testing/assessments **Working with Us** As a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture in an organization where financial strength and stability is an asset that emboldens us to explore new ideas.
