Overview Operating in the Recycling field, this new firm is looking for a Risk & Audit Compliance Manager who can own and drive the risk management framework across the organisation, coupled with leading the auditing process for recycling schemes. As an amalgamation of a risk and audit role, we are looking for someone with existing strong risk management knowledge and the capability to design and implement our member audit approach. Your Role Developing and implementing a programme of risk management toolsappropriate to the scale and needs of the business. Reviewing existing risk registers and scoring of enterprise risk registers and ensuring a key timeline of actions to address risks is adhered to by risk owners. Undertaking audits and leveraging external resources to ensure a risk-based approach is applied. Documenting auditing processes and procedures, reviewing and analysing evidence, and identifying potential issues. This will include the evaluation of members accounting systems, governance arrangements and internal controls related to their systems of reporting. Reviewing and interpreting the outcome of the audits and continually improving the risk-based audit approach to improve the quality of the ongoing audit programme. Your Background Strong experience in a Risk or Audit role. A background in developing, implementing and embedding risk or compliance programmes. Experience in conducting compliance audits across a multi-stakeholder landscape would be highly beneficial. Other Details Flexible Working: 37 hour week with core times Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 16:00 & Friday 09:00 to 13:00 Hybrid Model: 3 days a week in office, 2 days at home.
