Seeking a qualified Audit Manager/Senior Manager to lead assurance services for financial services wealth and asset management clients in Dublin/Cork.
**Job Summary** We are looking for a seasoned audit professional to join our growing Wealth and Asset Management team, providing assurance services to industry-leading clients in the financial services sector. **Opportunity Overview** Our Financial Services Assurance team has experienced significant growth over the last three years, driven by the success of the financial services industry in Ireland and global audit wins. We are now seeking to expand our team to capitalize on this success and build upon our expertise. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead client relationships and stakeholder management through ongoing communication and resolution of key audit issues. • Participate in financial services business development activities to identify new business opportunities. • Understand clients' industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. • Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of assurance services. • Develop team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. • Plan engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and appropriately address risk. • Review and approve financial statements, opinions, and reports for clients. **Requirements** • Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) • Minimum 5 years' assurance experience in a Big 4 practice or senior level within the Wealth and Asset Management industry • Detailed knowledge of relevant accounting standards impacting the sector • Track record of managing and delivering client projects • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially report writing skills • Professional and proactive approach to work • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US GAAP **What We Offer** A competitive remuneration package, comprehensive Total Rewards package, support for flexible working and career development, and a wide range of benefits and discounts. **About EY** As a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, we are committed to building a better working world.
