Audit Manager/Senior Manager – Financial Services (FS) Wealth and Asset Management
Seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager/Senior Manager to lead our Financial Services (FS) Wealth and Asset Management team in Dublin/Cork.
As a key member of our Assurance team, you will work with industry-leading asset management clients, both locally and globally, to deliver high-quality audit services.
With a strong track record in maintaining client relationships and a minimum of 5 years' assurance experience, you will be responsible for leading client relationships, stakeholder management, and business development activities.
You will also be responsible for providing guidance and expertise to professional staff, participating in the conduct of assurance services, and developing team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead client relationships and stakeholder management through ongoing communication and resolution of key audit issues.
- Active involvement in financial services business development activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Understand our service lines and actively assess ways to apply knowledge and services to grow our business.
- Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services.
- Develop team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum 5 years' assurance experience gained in Big 4 practice or experience of working at a Manager level within a financial services department.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant accounting standards impacting the sector.
- Track record of establishing and developing client relationships.
- Track record of managing and delivering client projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially report writing skills.
