A leading financial services firm is seeking a seasoned Audit Manager/Senior Manager to lead its Wealth and Asset Management team in Dublin/Cork, with a focus on complex audits, controls reviews, and regulatory compliance.
**Job Description**
As a key member of our Assurance team, you will lead client relationships, develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and provide guidance and expertise to professional staff. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading client relationships and stakeholder management through ongoing communication and resolution of key audit issues
* Active involvement in financial services business development activities to identify new business opportunities
* Understanding our service lines and applying knowledge and services to grow our business
* Providing guidance and expertise to professional staff and participating in the conduct of assurance services, including audits, controls reviews, remediation projects, and regulatory compliance
* Developing team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team
**Requirements**
* Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA)
* Minimum 5 years assurance experience gained in a Big 4 practice or experience working at a Manager level within a financial services department
* Detailed knowledge of relevant accounting standards impacting the sector
* Strong client relationship-building and management skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and organize work with strong attention to detail
* Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US GAAP
* Dedicated to teamwork and leadership
