Audit Senior – Financial Services Banking (BDO Ireland)Department: AuditEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: DublinDescriptionBDO Ireland is currently seeking a Qualified Senior to join our Audit Financial Services Banking Team. You will be a key player in our business transformation. We give you the challenge and support you need, and you can shape your own career according to your strengths, skills, and personality.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all stages of external audits including planning, execution, and completion.Coordinate and supervise teams of up to 3 people on various audit assignments.Main point of contact during onsite audit field with clients, responsible for communicating with and managing client expectations.Effective communication with management and partner on progress and status of various audits is a key requirement.Work across a wide range of audit assignments and on multiple teams.Time management, work in progress management, delegation, use of initiative, excellent communication, and assertiveness are skills required for this level.Adhering to budgets and ensuring deadlines are met will be a key element of the role.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).3 – 4 years working in Audit.Strong technical knowledge.Strong attention to detail.Strong communication skills and client service ethos.Adaptable to change.Good leadership and delegation skills.Banking experience.Experience working on large, complex group audits would be advantageous.BenefitsState of the art office.Central location.Career Progression.Travel Green Allowance Voucher.Digi Doc.Annual Leave Purchase Scheme.Adoptive Leave Increase.Together Anywhere Leave.BDO Learning & Development programme.Coverage of professional subscription.BDO is an equal opportunities employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
