Join our Asset and Wealth Management practice as a specialist in Assurance, working with a team of experts to deliver high-quality audit services to clients.
We are seeking an efficient and organised individual with strong IT skills and a passion for delivering high-quality work. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor to complete key standardised audit procedures in relation to valuation of investments or existence of investments for a broad range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with audit teams to discuss and understand client requirements;
- Prepare, cleanse and standardise portfolio data and third-party vendor information;
- Upload and download data and information to/from the PwC Global Software;
- Perform key standardised audit procedures to obtain an appropriate level of audit evidence;
- Prepare and document work performed within the PwC audit workpaper software;
- Cooperate with senior team members to complete work and demonstrate flexibility within the work plan;
- Communicate with senior team members regarding engagement progress, risks and issues;
- Liaise with audit teams and clients to discuss and resolve issues as they arise;
- Work closely with other Competency Centre team members.
Requirements:
- Efficient and organised individual with an ability to work to tight deadlines;
- Ability to prioritise, manage own workflow and use own initiative;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on board coaching from other team members;
- A positive 'can do' attitude;
- Very strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work;
- Team player – ability to engage with team and provide support/flexibility;
- Strong IT skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with G Suite/Microsoft Teams would be beneficial but not essential;
- Third-level qualification preferred;
- Knowledge/understanding of the investment fund industry is advantageous but not essential.
