Avista is a progressive organisation providing services to Children and Adults with Intellectual Disabilities. We seek a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our Adult Day Services team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities in a person-centred, community-based approach.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues.
- Manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Autism Behaviour Support.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in Intellectual Disability services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and IT skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
