P&ID Technician Wanted
We are seeking an experienced Auto CAD expert to join our client's team in West Cork to implement a comprehensive drawing register and change control system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and manage 2 D/3 D P&IDs and engineering drawings using Auto CAD.
- Support project teams and ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation for handovers and approvals.
- Implement change controls and snagging for in-house and external projects.
- Collaborate with Quality, Health & Safety, and Engineering teams to ensure all drawings are audit-ready.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of piping design experience with Auto CAD 2 D/3 D.
- Engineering qualification and proficiency in Plant 3 D and/or Plant P&ID (a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hygienic piping, ATEX, and plant layouts is a bonus.
A comprehensive drawing register and change control system is being implemented across the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing 2 D/3 D P&IDs and engineering drawings using Auto CAD.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of piping design and experience working with Auto CAD 2 D/3 D. They will also have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
