AutoCAD Technician sought for dynamic team working on electrical engineering projects across Ireland and the UK, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician to join our team. As an AutoCAD Technician, you will work on a broad range of new build and refurbishment electrical engineering projects across Ireland and the UK in various industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce collaborative models and associated drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Liaise with Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, and Senior Electrical Estimator.
- Input model elements with required detail (graphic & data).
- Monitor for clashes and produce weekly reports.
- Coordinate and monitor incoming/shared models.
- Produce images and drawings as required by Contracts Manager.
- Explore BIM modelling and creation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical elements and asset data.
- Produce as-built drawings and models.
- Produce Asset Information Models.
Key Requirements:
- Electrical background, ideally Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineering Degree.
- 2+ years of active project experience producing construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with commercial building projects, industrial plants, and data centre projects.
- Proficient in MS Office packages, Revit, AutoCAD 2D, and Navisworks Manage.
- Site experience desired.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal, written, and numerical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a demanding environment.
- Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
