Job Description
The Maintenance Automation Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day functionality of all GWWO automated systems in the GWWO Manufacturing and Packaging facilities. This will include both preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and end-user support. The role will lead automated systems projects, develop and maintain SOPs, and support validation of automated systems. The engineer must have experience in implementing automation projects in Siemens Step7 and/or TIA Portal, and proficiency in programming languages such as LAD/SCL. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines are required. The role involves executing the full software development life cycle, training maintenance technicians, and working in conjunction with other teams to develop and program new additions to existing systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience and a relevant third-level qualification.
