Job Description
Seeking a skilled Building Automation System Engineer to support the Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Systems, working closely with operations, HVAC engineers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Control systems.
- Deliver upgrade projects and ensure equipment operates within specifications.
- Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
- Schedule and coordinate work to meet tight deadlines.
- Develop and implement test procedures and automation change controls.
- Liaise with installation/project engineers and vendors.
- Supervise engineering and technical staff.
- Write reports and documentation.
- Develop work instructions and ensure safe working conditions.
- Train maintenance and operative staff.
- Attend software factory acceptance and site acceptance testing.
- Maintain and develop change control systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Building Automation/Building Management system solutions and support in manufacturing organisations.
- Experience in project delivery and operations support.
- Experience working with Air Handling Units (AHU) / HVAC and other critical utility systems.
- Experience with Siemens DesigoCC and Siemens Xworks.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate at various levels, with excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Experience with interfacing equipment using modbus would be an advantage.
