Job Description

This client is a global leader of medical device manufacturing solutions. They specialize in designing and building bespoke, reliable, complete solutions which automate highly complex production processes. Through deep client collaboration they support customers on the automation journey as they transition to smart methods of manufacturing that ultimately drive productivity and business efficiencies. We provide end-to-end automation and integration solutions to the medical device industry. Overview of role: Become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation Machine control system software design, development & commissioning A great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications Main Tasks: Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision Develop, test, commission & support machine control software Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients' standards Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc) Specification of control system components Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle Experience: PLC & HMI experience desirable, preferably with Allen Bradley Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development Ability to create technical documentation Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantage Requirements: Excellent communication skills Proactive and energetic approach Strong organisational skills A quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude Needs to work well in a multifunctional team Driving Licence and ability to travel Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
